viva! art action has officially begun. and like official beginnings a space is made for saying thank you. here the space was inside the pool, and the organizers of the event (who have worked like crazy to bring this festival into being) passed the microphone so each person could say what they had to say and, most importantly, give thanks to the gods of funding. as we all know from our mythology lessons, when one forgets to give thanks to the gods serious consequences are in store…and so i am happy to say, appropriate thanks was given.
